Neighbors Helping neighbors

Our neighborhood is tremendously community focused and filled with helpful individuals.  Toward that end, a number of neighborhood Realtors have banded together to coordinate an opportunity for everyone in the area to help others in need with household projects.

This service is intended for some of our older neighbors or those with health issues or those who find themselves with new caregiving responsibilities.  As we launch this service, we are thinking mainly of assistance with yard work.  As we get our feet under us, we may be able to undertake other home maintenance activities.

Here is how it works:

• Using the form below, you nominate a neighbor (or yourself!) who would benefit from having a few hours of help from a handful of neighbors.  
• One or two of us would meet with the neighbor to get an idea of the needs and set a schedule for the work.
• We would then coordinate sign up for volunteers to assist in completion of the project.
